A brief summary of our CQC routine inspection

As part of this inspection, the team at Sunrise Healthcare Ltd in Diss spoke with people who used the service, a relative of a person who used the service and three care staff. Everybody we spoke with who used the service was complimentary about the care provided. They told us that care staff were, “compassionate and professional,” and “very efficient and gentle.” Staff told us that they felt supported by the manager and senior staff and that they had sufficient training to perform their role. 

Assessments and care plans

Records showed that people had their homecare needs assessed and care was planned using this assessment. Risks were identified and actions put in place to mitigate any risk identified. There were appropriate recruitment and selection procedures in place and the legal requirement for checks on staff were completed before they were employed.
